Montegoman's response to the earlier fox-body post inspired me to look these up.

I think this one looks mean as hell from this angle:

Kinja'd!!!

I love how he claims it has a beautiful inside, I wonder what he is talking about the inside of, because the interior, while all-there and seeming to be in one piece, is very dirty.

What say you? The picture inspires me to do a dark-grey-blue matte paint job.

Dude has an, um... interesting definition of "beautiful"

I would not describe the condition of any part of that car in such a way.

1985½ with roller cam/4 bbl is highly desirable but this car appears to have v-belts not a single serpentine belt that model should have.

Haha, I knew this would garner a response from you to this effect.

Sadly I would have nowhere to put the car or work on it. So I gotta hold off here. Also I'd really like my next project car to be a convertible. I do like this Capri though, from the pictures it looks like it could clean up pretty well. I also like how menacing it looks form the front.

Kinja'd!!!

Found one like this a few years ago while motorcycle riding back roads near Summit, Miss.

5.0 / T-Top Black Magic Capri sitting in the weeds next to a house, wanted to stop but was overruled by my co-riders. Was almost a year before I could get back there but it was gone. Anyone from that area seen it on the road? I hope it has been restored and not rotting away somewhere else.

COME ON DO IT DO IT DO IT! You and I both know convertibles are over rated, heavier and less structural rigidity!

We could have a 5.0 Mercury intimidating front end party:

Wow such roofless, very structurally weaker. Many rust.
